About

In 2008, Magi McBride founded the Blues For Autism fundraiser. The fundraiser was originally established for Second Life's bluesy community and the idea caught on quickly.

The first year, BFA raised L$875,000. The following year, BFA was bigger and better and raised over whopping L$1,500,000. Then in 2010, BFA raised L$1,400,000. In total over the past three years Blues for Autism has raised over $15,000 which was donated to the Autism Society.org.

The first year of BFA, we didn't have a blog yet but we did have a logo and Yordie Sands made several blog posts in her personal blog. Beginning in 2009, BFA began keeping a history of each year's fundraiser on a dedicated blog. To learn about the history of Blues for Autism, click on a BFA logo and link to the blog for that year.
