ASA launched the Treatment-Guided Research Initiative in order to bring early and effective treatment to all people affected by Autism.

* Early identification and treatment of Autism dramatically improves the outcome for children diagnosed with this developmental disorder!

* Autism Society of America is a leading source of information about Autism providing valuable resources in order to improve the lives of all affected by Autism!

* Autism is a complex developmental disability that typically appears during the first three years of life and affects a person’s ability to communicate and interact with others.

* There is no known single cause for autism, but increased awareness and funding can help families today!

* Autism is growing at an alarming rate, 10-17% per year! Although you may not know someone affected by Autism today, the likelihood is that you will in the future!
